The ARC at Cincinnati is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. In this role, you will provide quality nursing care, support resident well-being, and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents according to individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to the Registered Nurse and/or physician.
- Accurately document resident care, observations, and treatments.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality resident care.
- Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
- Maintain infection control practices and adhere to all safety regulations and facility policies.
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
