About the role

LPNs on 4 Main Med-Surg Telemetry Unit at UK Good Samaritan Hospital provide for medical surgical patients and adults requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Patient conditions include a wide range of medical conditions and recovery from surgical procedures which may or may not require telemetry monitoring. The LPN is a member of the multidisciplinary ambulatory team who is responsible for patient care, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Starting IVs
• Simple wound dressings
• Notifying the RN or LIP with any changes or abnormalities in the patient's condition

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Kentucky Licensure
• 0 years related experience

Pay & schedule

• Salary range: $19.00-30.09/hour
• Full-time position
• Three 12-hour shifts per week from 7am until 7:30pm
• Weekend and holiday work required
