About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care under supervision, utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality care. The role involves coordinating patient care across departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and floating between various hospital facilities and departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical.

Responsibilities

• Delivering bedside nursing care
• Adapting to flexible shifts (day or night)
• Responding to short-notice scheduling
• Performing duties involving lifting, standing, reaching, bending, and walking
• Working in diverse settings with varying patient needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current LPN license
• Recent bedside experience (minimum one year for Med Surg, two years for other specialties)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and IV certification
• Epic experience preferred
