About the role

We are seeking a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care across various departments, including Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical, at multiple facility locations. The role involves utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the direction of a registered nurse, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across multiple departments
• Maintain professional accountability and adapt to last-minute shift changes

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Active LPN license
• Recent bedside experience: one year for Med Surg, two years for specialized units (e.g., ICU, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health)
• Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS, PALS, and IV certification
• Epic experience (preferred)

Physical demands

• Lifting and moving patients or equipment
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching

Schedule

Flexible shifts with no weekend or holiday requirements. Ability to choose shifts based on availability.
