LPN (Full-Time, Temporary)
About the Role
Rydal Park, a premier Life Plan Community located in Jenkintown, is hiring a full-time Temporary Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Health Center team. This assignment is expected to last approximately 3 to 4 months, although the duration may be shorter or longer based on organizational needs. This position offers the potential to transition into a regular full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Our Licensed Vocational Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses (LVN/LPN) are responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our “Philosophy for person-directed Care.” You will ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the residents’ daily life rhythm. You would help develop assignments in coordination with the care partners and keep each team member accountable for resident care and satisfaction.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 8 shifts per pay period
- Every other weekend
- Opportunities to pick up additional shifts
Pay
Base Pay: $31–$35/hour (based on experience)
Requirements
- Current LVN/LPN license in the state for which applying
- Current CPR certification
- Prior nursing experience: senior care, skilled nurse, post-acute or sub-acute care preferred
- New grads are welcome
