About the role
Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, CO is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The position is committed to a work environment of integrity, respect, and a customer focus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a general overview of residents' well-being and promptly report any changes to the appropriate associate/departments.
- Assist residents with simple requests and refer to appropriate associates for assistance.
- Learn and implement resident preferences to enhance customer service and satisfaction.
- Assess residents for physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs and follow environmental and safety guidelines.
- Identify and recommend additional healthcare professionals as needed for comprehensive care.
- Document evaluations of nursing interventions and monitor resident responses.
- Achieve and exceed resident expectations through exemplary customer service.
- Support the Medication Management Program by assisting with tasks under the direction of the Care Services Director or Director of Nursing.
- Participate in the community's sales process and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the team's success by maintaining high standards of personal appearance and adhering to all regulations and policies.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program.
- One year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferred.
- Assisted living and/or dementia experience preferred.
Special Requirements/Certifications
- Current active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice.
- Basic competency in using multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office applications and internet-based applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
