LPN (Full-Time)

Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, CO is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The position is committed to a work environment of integrity, respect, and a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a general overview of residents' well-being and promptly report any changes to the appropriate associate/departments.
• Assist residents with simple requests and refer to appropriate associates for assistance.
• Learn and implement resident preferences to enhance customer service and satisfaction.
• Assess residents for physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs and follow environmental and safety guidelines.
• Identify and recommend additional healthcare professionals as needed for comprehensive care.
• Document evaluations of nursing interventions and monitor resident responses.
• Achieve and exceed resident expectations through exemplary customer service.
• Support the Medication Management Program by assisting with tasks under the direction of the Care Services Director or Director of Nursing.
• Participate in the community's sales process and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the team's success by maintaining high standards of personal appearance and adhering to all regulations and policies.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program.
• One year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferred.
• Assisted living and/or dementia experience preferred.

Special Requirements/Certifications

• Current active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice.
• Basic competency in using multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office applications and internet-based applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
