About the role

The Center Medical Specialist is responsible for performing physical examinations and medical history assessments to determine donor suitability at plasma donation centers. They build rapport with donors, ensure confidentiality, and educate donors on health and test results.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and medical history assessments to determine donor suitability
• Build rapport with donors and ensure confidentiality
• Educate donors on health and test results
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries, adverse events, and medical histories
• Assist in employee training
• Administer hepatitis vaccination programs

Qualifications

• Certified/licensed as an EMT, Paramedic, or LPN
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification
• Meet state licensing requirements
• Demonstrate physical dexterity
