LPN (Full Time)

Overview

Over at Otterbein Tipp City, we're seeking skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who want to be part of a caring team. Our LPNs direct resident care, collaborate with medical professionals, and provide support to residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Affirms residents' health through physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Involves in the care planning process.
• Supervises other LPNs and CNAs.
• Communicates with doctors about changes in residents' conditions and test results.
• Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards and company policies.
• Trains residents and their families on health-related topics.
• Fills out required forms and adheres to company and regulatory guidelines.
• Exhibits a caring attitude, respect, and dignity towards elders.
• Empowers elders to make decisions.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid state license as an LPN/LVN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Completes required continuing education units (CEUs) as mandated by the state.
