About the Role
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the direction of a licensed professional, ensuring professional accountability and coordination with other departments.
Responsibilities
- Care for cardiac, respiratory, and septic patients on a step-down progressive care unit (PCU)
- Monitor patients with high acuity, including those with respiratory distress and cardiac issues
- Assess patient condition and respond to urgent needs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
Requirements
- Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Current LPN license (or within 90 days if pending)
- BLS certification; IV certification within 1 year
