Job Summary Provides patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring actions align with professional standards. Administers intravenous therapy and medications in compliance with state nursing regulations. Builds caring relationships that support patient autonomy, dignity, and rights. Performs duties as assigned to promote healing and patient well-being. Responsibilities Communicates and collaborates with registered nursesCollects patient data and assists in care planningSupports implementation and evaluation of care plansAdministers prescribed medications and IV therapy following regulationsProvides patient and group education on health topicsParticipates in initiatives to improve healthcare delivery and ongoing educationCompletes assigned goals efficiently Qualifications & Skills Minimum IV therapy training as per state board requirementsExperience varies by location, with preferred prior IV therapy trainingEducation includes accredited IV therapy courses or trainingProficiency in computer literacyLicenses required: BLS certification within 14 days of hire, LPN license, IV certification per state regulations
