LPN - Full Time Evening

About the role

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), providing professional nursing care to residents of all ages in an assisted living setting.

Responsibilities

• Assessing residents and administering medications or treatments as ordered
• Monitoring resident health, comfort, and safety
• Recognizing problems, recommending solutions, and responding to emergent situations
• Documenting resident interactions, care outcomes, and progress
• Collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals and supporting interdisciplinary care
• Counseling residents and families on prevention and treatment plans
• Performing testing and providing technical support to the care team

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as an LPN
• Current licensure in the practicing state(s)
• Preferred experience in long-term, sub-acute, or medical/surgical care

Skills

• Effective communication and confidentiality maintenance
• Ability to work within a team and establish effective relationships
• Knowledge of resident education principles and self-care development
