LPN Floor Nurse

About the role
Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations as prescribed and in accordance with nursing standards. Monitor and assess residents’ health status, documenting changes and communicating concerns to the charge nurse or physician. Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition. Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance protocols. Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid/Active LPN license in NJ
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care
- Knowledge of clinical procedures, medications, and resident care standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
Pay
Rates vary based on experience and licensure: $34–$37/hr. New LPNs start at $34/hr, experienced LPNs at $35.50/hr, and per diem at $37/hr.
Schedule
Part-time 2nd shift plus every other weekend.
