Floor Nurse (RN/LPN)

Schedule

• Part-time PM (3pm-11pm)

Responsibilities

• Deliver Compassionate, Clinical Care
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and community policies
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
  • Monitor resident conditions and intervene as needed to ensure health and safety
• Lead & Support The Care Team
  • Support CNAs and other direct care staff to ensure consistent, quality care
  • Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
• Foster a Safe & Supportive Environment
  • Uphold infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols at all times
  • Promote dignity, comfort, and respect in all resident interactions
  • Respond promptly to call lights and urgent care needs with a calm and professional presence
• Be a Clinical & Community Leader
  • Mentor new staff and share knowledge with team members
  • Collaborate with families and other departments to meet holistic care goals
  • Represent the nursing team positively in community events and care conferences

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in IL
• CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Qualifications

• Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others
• Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout a full shift
