LPN -- Emergency
An opportunity to join our remarkable care as an experienced Canadian Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Part-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, including weekend rotation and holiday commitment.

About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for managing patient care during a designated timeframe. Responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching, and delegation of patient activities to other healthcare team members through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions as a collaborative member of the healthcare team under the supervision of the RN or provider. The LPN implements specific aspects of the nursing process, performs direct patient care, coordinates unit activities, and administers medications as authorized. The LPN may not delegate tasks or supervise other licensed or non-licensed professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate patient care using the nursing process
- Evaluate and delegate patient care activities to healthcare team members
- Provide direct patient care to a specific group of patients
- Administer medications as authorized
- Coordinate activities related to unit processes
- Support unit-based shared governance council activities
- Promote organizational commitment and excellence in patient care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate from a practical nursing education program accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing (for LPN role)
- Current and active LPN or RN license in the State of Michigan
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
