LPN - Behavioral Health Adult Acute, Days & Nights

Role Overview

Provide direct patient care under supervision, supporting behavioral health patients through assessments, medication administration, monitoring, and therapeutic services. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, self-care, and post-discharge resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient well-being and contribute to care planning.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform point-of-care testing and therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and families about treatment, health needs, and follow-up care.
• Maintain safety and adhere to organizational policies and professional standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Current LPN licensure and BLS certification (AHA).
• Physical ability to perform standing, walking, lifting, and other physical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and alertness to patient safety.

Schedule

Day and night shifts, with a focus on adult behavioral health.
