Role Overview
Provide direct patient care under supervision, supporting behavioral health patients through assessments, medication administration, monitoring, and therapeutic services. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, self-care, and post-discharge resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient well-being and contribute to care planning.
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Perform point-of-care testing and therapeutic interventions.
- Educate patients and families about treatment, health needs, and follow-up care.
- Maintain safety and adhere to organizational policies and professional standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Current LPN licensure and BLS certification (AHA).
- Physical ability to perform standing, walking, lifting, and other physical requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and alertness to patient safety.
Schedule
Day and night shifts, with a focus on adult behavioral health.
