About the role

Supporting adult patients in a hospital setting within the Behavioral Health department.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care under supervision
• Conducting assessments
• Administering medications and monitoring for adverse reactions
• Performing therapeutic services
• Educating patients and families on treatment plans and self-care
• Adhering to professional nursing standards, safety, and holistic patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid LPN license
• BLS certification
• Must hold relevant licenses for the applicable state
• No prior experience required

Skills and physical demands

• Strong communication
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive movements
• Effective use of vision and hearing in a fast-paced environment
