About the role

We are seeking a talented and team-oriented LPN to join our Balfour Riverfront Park community. Located in downtown Denver, CO, we offer senior living in a vibrant neighborhood. Our commitment is to a work environment of integrity, respect, and a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents' well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition
• Effectively supervise departmental operations on a day-to-day basis
• Assess residents to identify their physical, psycho-social, and environmental needs
• Communicate, identify, report, and document problems
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately
• Identify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality care of the resident
• Document evaluation of nursing interventions including resident response
• Assess resident and staff knowledge base of disease processes, treatment regimens, and/or medication administration and assist with care plans
• Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director
• Assist with Medication Management Program
• Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process
• Present required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• One-year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferred
• Assisted living and/or dementia experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with ports and Huber needles a plus
• Experience in wound care
• Hands-on experience with Dialysis shunts a plus

Qualifications

• Current active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to assess and address resident needs
• Knowledge of emergency procedures
• Proficiency in wound care and medication management

Pay

$36.00-$38.00/hr (depending on experience)

Schedule

Part-time | 6 AM - 6 PM; must be available for 1 weekend day
