Job Summary and Responsibilities

This position is eligible for up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus AND up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide compassionate nursing care to our residents, under the direction of a physician or Registered Nurse. Every day, you will assess resident needs and deliver essential physical or psychosocial care.

• Exhibits genuine compassion for patient well-being
• Understands critical role in ensuring resident comfort
• Displays patience in explaining procedures, answering questions, and maintaining accurate documentation

Absorbs knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.

• Assesses and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decision making
• Determines need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions
• Implements and/or modifies plan of care using assessment data, standards of care and evidence-based practice
• Inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning
• Facilitates interdisciplinary partnership in patient care (as appropriate for an LPN)

Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice and delivers care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity and rights.

• Evaluates progress towards attainment of desired patient outcomes

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
• Licensed Practical Nurse: KY, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Pay Range

$23.69 - $35.24 /hour
