About the role

Renewal Falls Recovery Center, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services, is opening a premier substance use disorder treatment center in Cedar Falls, Iowa. We are seeking compassionate, skilled Licensed Practical Nurses to join our founding clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with provider orders
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and crisis situations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, therapists, behavioral health technicians, and case management staff
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards, state regulations, and company policies
• Promote a safe, therapeutic, trauma-informed environment for patients and staff

Requirements

• Current Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary treatment team
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Experience in detoxification, behavioral health, addiction medicine, long-term care, medical-surgical nursing, or corrections
• Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
• Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders
