About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Inpatient Unit team on a PRN basis. The LPN will provide quality patient care, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes in an inpatient setting at our Frankfort, IN location.

Responsibilities

• Know and use the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for individual patients.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team.
• Evaluate response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement.
• Accept delegated nursing measures for which you are prepared, qualified, and licensed to perform.

Requirements

• Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA; other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
• Successful completion of orientation.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Schedule

PRN position with a rotating schedule. Weekends and holidays are not required but may be worked if the employee elects to pick up additional shifts.
