Position Overview
As part of the talented Lowe Boats team as an Assembler, you will assemble aluminum boats and / or sub-assemblies, partially or completely, working at bench, or in a boat, or on shop floor.
Essential Functions
- Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Using jigs, and gluing.
- Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and shears to produce close fit between parts.
- Operates drill presses, punch presses, air tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
- Installs seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc.
- Responsible for following the quality systems procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Self starter, team player with a good safety awareness
- Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift
Preferred Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in boat assembly preferred
Working Conditions
- May be required to work in a non-air conditioned area
- Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs
- Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis
- PPE required: Hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety gloves

The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.05-19.25 per hour.
Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
