Lowe Boats: Assembler

Position Overview

As part of the talented Lowe Boats team as an Assembler, you will assemble aluminum boats and / or sub-assemblies, partially or completely, working at bench, or in a boat, or on shop floor.

Essential Functions

• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Using jigs, and gluing.
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and shears to produce close fit between parts.
• Operates drill presses, punch presses, air tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
• Installs seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc.
• Responsible for following the quality systems procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Self starter, team player with a good safety awareness
• Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in boat assembly preferred

• The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.05-19.25 per hour. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
