Position Overview

Globalcom Technologies, a division of Westphal & Company, is hiring a Low Voltage Project Manager in Milwaukee, WI to support structured cabling and technology infrastructure projects across southeastern Wisconsin. As part of our growing Milwaukee presence, this role offers strong autonomy and ownership, managing projects while building relationships with local clients and contractors. This position focuses on structured cabling and ICT infrastructure, including copper and fiber systems, network installations, and technology integration across commercial and industrial environments. Projects may include healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial facilities across the region.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in low voltage, electrical, or construction project management
  • Strong estimating and cost control experience
  • Knowledge of structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber infrastructure
  • Familiarity with ICT systems and network installations
  • Familiarity with BICSI standards and structured cabling design or installation practices (preferred)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently

Impact

  • Manage Low Voltage & ICT Projects
  • Oversee structured cabling, security, AV, and communication system installations from bid through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Cook up Structured Cabling Scope
  • Manage installation of copper and fiber cabling systems, including backbone and horizontal distribution, termination, testing, and coordination with other trades on active job sites
  • Support ICT & Structured Cabling Systems
  • Work across structured cabling systems including copper, fiber optics, and network infrastructure. Ensure installations align with industry standards and best practices, including BICSI guidelines
  • Build Client Relationships in Southeastern Wisconsin
  • Act as a trusted partner to general contractors and end users, helping generate repeat business and new opportunities in the Milwaukee market
  • Lead Estimating Efforts
  • Prepare bids, review project documents, and identify cost-effective construction solutions
  • Cook up Field Teams
  • Work with field crews to maintain project schedules, quality, and safety standards
  • Cook up Project Closeout & Documentation
  • Coordinate testing, labeling, and documentation of structured cabling systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
  • Support Regional Growth
  • Help expand Globalcom’s presence in southeastern Wisconsin through strong project delivery and client engagement
