About the Role

At Raytheon, we help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression through cutting-edge Stealth Technology. You will work on all phases of development, production, and maintenance of Low Observable (LO) weapon systems, contributing to next-generation materials and advanced signature control techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Radar Cross Section (RCS) design, analysis, and testing.
  • Work in integrated product teams to incorporate advanced signature control techniques into deliverable products.
  • Assess system-level performance.
  • Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience performing RCS measurement/testing, prediction, and/or design.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance (required prior to start date).
  • U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with high-temperature RCS reduction techniques.
  • Experience with Infrared signature analysis and reduction techniques.
  • Experience in Laser Cross Section reduction techniques.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard computational electromagnetic (CEM) codes such as SENTRi & XPATCH.
  • Advanced degree in STEM.
  • Top Secret security clearance.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range reflects all experience levels and considers factors such as role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
