Love's Travel Stop in Hillsboro, Texas is hiring for Diesel Technician and Apprentice Diesel Technician roles.
About the role
Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems for Love's Travel Stop fleet and customer vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Work on a variety of vehicles including semi-trucks, trailers, and light-duty diesel vehicles
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements
- Experience with diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Apprentice candidates: willingness to learn and train under experienced technicians
