Apprentice Diesel Technician

About the Role

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment to maintain clean facilities, assist customers with roadside services, and perform preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical, air conditioning, wheel end, air system, air brakes, charging system, and basic computer diagnostics and repairs.
• Learn parts lookup and acquisition processes.
• Work with customers and drivers, ensuring safety and satisfaction.
• Lift up to 75+ pounds, work in various temperatures, and follow safety policies.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by the employer).

Requirements

• Mechanical inclination.
• Ability to work in close quarters.
• Adaptability to rotating day/night schedules.
• Willingness to learn technical skills and prioritize safety.
