About the role

Supports the development and implementation of instructional strategies that enhance student achievement in English and reading.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and coaching to teachers in English and reading.
• Assist in the design and delivery of professional development workshops.
• Evaluate student performance data to inform instructional decisions.
• Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement curriculum improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license in Louisiana.
• Experience working with students in grades 6-12.
• Strong knowledge of English and reading standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of current educational research and best practices.
