About the role
Supports special education teachers in Louisiana schools through mentorship, coaching, and instructional strategies.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach special education teachers in classroom settings.
- Provide feedback and support to enhance teaching methodologies.
- Conduct observations and provide constructive criticism.
- Implement evidence-based instructional strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license in Louisiana.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Special Education preferred.
- Experience in educational leadership or administration.
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws.
Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
