About the role
Supports special education teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies and interventions. Facilitates professional development and coaching sessions.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to special education teachers.
- Implement evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions.
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and provide feedback to teachers.
- Facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certificate in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring teachers.
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of special education best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using technology for instructional delivery and data analysis.
