Loss Recovery Representative

What You’ll Do:

- Contact customers via outbound and inbound calls to arrange payment solutions and bring accounts to resolution. - Negotiate payment plans based on customer circumstances while meeting daily and monthly performance goals. - Conduct extensive skip tracing to locate customers, vehicles, or potential leads. - Maintain accurate records of account activity, updates, and vehicle recovery progress. - Collaborate with team members to support department goals and share information on active cases. - Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. - Ensure confidentiality of all company operations, customer information, and technology systems.

What We’re Looking For:

- Strong skip-tracing background with the ability to locate customers and collateral effectively. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and written skills with a professional, goal-oriented attitude. - Flexible availability – able to work overtime and weekends as needed. - Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with solid attention to detail. - Driven to meet goals and motivated to grow within the department. - Thorough understanding of state and federal collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive finance industry, with knowledge of collections, repossession, and skip tracing. - Ability to assess and value collateral accurately. - Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office software. - Comfortable using web-based applications and online skip-tracing tools. - High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
