Loss Prevention Officer
About the role
This job is all about how you react, or just as important, don’t react, in a crisis. It’s about staying a step (or five) ahead of potentially dangerous situations, identifying them and managing them with professionalism, reasonable thinking and in accordance with our policies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of the hotel’s guests, associates and assets.
- Identify and manage potential threats professionally and in accordance with policies.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a safe environment.
Requirements
- Passionate about safety and security with similar work experience.
- A post-secondary diploma, degree or industry-related certifications would be a plus.
- Experience in safety and security operations.
- A team player, detail-oriented individual.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
