Responsibilities
Your Role: Seeking a dependable Unarmed Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment at an industrial aluminum facility. This role is responsible for access control, site patrols, and supporting plant safety and emergency response efforts.
- Control entry/exit of employees, contractors, and visitors
- Verify credentials and maintain visitor logs
- Conduct routine patrols of plant and perimeter areas
- Maintain and monitor cameras, alarms, and security systems
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
- Complete incident reports and daily activity logs
- Support plant safety programs and contractor compliance
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Loss Prevention
- Willingness to work any shift, including night and swing shifts
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends
- Ability to read gauges for fire equipment and interpret computerized alarm systems
- Computer skills
- Ability to climb ladders, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, turn, twist, and bend at the waist
- Ability to pull or push 300lbs
- Ability to hear warning bells, horns, and sirens, and ability to see normally
- Icing On The Cake: CPR w/ AED assist & First Aid Certification
