About the role
Your career completes the daily tasks required for Store Loss Prevention and safety programs. You’ll maintain positive relationships with Store Management while conducting apprehensions within established policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with store Associates on damage and shrink initiatives.
- Identify and resolve internal and external theft.
- Adhere to established shoplifter guidelines and policies.
- Provide timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers.
- Promote a culture of honesty and integrity; maintain confidentiality.
- Observe, apprehend, and/or deter any acts of dishonesty from outside sources.
- Participate in investigations and surveillance as assigned.
- Ensure apprehensions are consistent with store theft activity.
- Complete and distribute paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain appropriate evidence and demonstrate understanding of law enforcement procedures.
- Professionally participate in legal activities as needed (e.g., police calls, etc.).
- Coordinate and complete shrink-related activities in partnership with Store Management.
- Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Encourage Associate use of shrink reduction resources.
- Promote safety awareness and support maintenance of a safe environment.
