About the Opportunity

The Long Term Housing Billing Specialist role is responsible for managing accounting functions related to long-term housing billing within the lodging business line. This position ensures accurate billing and revenue entry for long-term housing placements, contributing to the financial accuracy and operational efficiency of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze long-term housing placements for accurate monthly billing, refundable deposits, and additional fees
  • Enter revenue fees and invoices into the GP accounting system
  • Process monthly invoices for insurance companies by the 15th of each month
  • Obtain appropriate invoice numbers for extensions and review extension invoices
  • Manage additional invoice billing requests
  • Serve as backup for all billing requests
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of related job experience preferred
  • Experience with insurance billing preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with ACT program and Microsoft GP is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Able to multitask, work independently, and collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrates business acumen and sound judgment
  • Able to maintain positive working relationships and support team members

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The expected salary range is $21 to $22 per hour, based on the candidate’s work location and determined by factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions.
