Construction Billing Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Manage AIA billing, progress billings, stored materials billing, and payment applications.
- Prepare and maintain Schedule of Values (SOVs), change orders, retainage, and lien waivers.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with billing requirements.
- Work closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and internal teams to support project billing and cash flow.
- Manage contractor billing platforms such as Procore, Textura, Levelset, or similar systems.
- Support billing reporting, reconciliations, and collections efforts.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of construction billing, project accounting, or contract billing experience.
- Strong experience with:
- AIA Billing
- Stored Materials Billing
- SOVs (Schedule of Values)
- Change Orders
- Payment Applications
- Retainage & Lien Waivers
- Experience working with General Contractors and Project Managers.
- Proficient in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
