Job Description

Clean Water Action is hiring full‑time and part‑time Grassroots Organizers in Philadelphia, PA to join the Field Canvass team. The role involves canvassing communities around issues such as AI data centers, PFAS bans, and environmental justice, using one‑on‑one communication, fundraising, collecting calls‑to‑action, dispersing information, and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Engage in one‑on‑one communication with community members.
• Fundraise and collect calls‑to‑action addressed to lawmakers (petitions, phone calls, handwritten letters).
• Distribute informational materials about campaign issues.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and outreach.
• Participate in training on job responsibilities and issue areas.

Pay

$21 per hour plus performance bonus opportunities.

Schedule

• Full‑time: Monday through Friday, 2 pm – 9 pm.
• Part‑time: 3 or 4 weekdays, 2 pm – 9 pm.

Location

In‑person position in Philadelphia, PA. Relocation assistance is not provided.
