Environmental Justice Organizer

About the role

Join the Movement for Clean Water! We are currently fighting to regulate AI data centers, ban toxic PFAS chemicals from fire-fighting foam and household goods, and pass comprehensive legislation to protect environmental justice communities across the state.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for progressive causes and influence decision makers at the national, state and local levels, amplifying your impact on critical issues.
• Gain support via e-signatures and calls to lawmakers
• Raise funds to support our research, lobbying, and educational campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive and motivated team.

Qualifications

• Passion for environmental and social justice issues
• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in nonprofit work, grassroots organizing, or policy advocacy
• Commitment to the cause of diversity, equity, justice and inclusion
