About the role
A skilled Long Term Care RN to provide comprehensive nursing care in a facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health, develop and update care plans, and administer treatments and medications.
- Monitor residents for changes, document care, and respond to emergencies.
- Supervise nursing staff, educate residents and families, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, resident-centered care.
Requirements
- One year of recent RN experience in long-term care.
- Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations and CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist residents, with visual and motor skills appropriate for patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as ACLS and others as required by the facility.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel, handle stressful situations, and maintain professionalism.
