Long Term Care RN

About the Role

A Long Term Care RN provides skilled nursing care in a facility setting, overseeing patient care plans, administering treatments, monitoring residents' conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor resident health status
• Develop and update personalized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments, including wound care and IV therapy
• Supervise nursing staff and delegate tasks appropriately
• Educate residents and families on health management
• Document care activities and resident progress
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with healthcare professionals
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• At least one year of recent Long Term Care RN experience
• Valid RN license and BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform required tasks and work effectively with diverse teams
• Proficiency in reading, writing, PC skills, and following instructions
