Long Term Care RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Long Term Care RN for a travel assignment to provide comprehensive nursing care in a facility setting. The role involves assessing residents, developing and updating personalized care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient conditions. RNs supervise nursing staff, educate residents and families, document care, and respond to emergencies, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent LTC RN experience
• Valid RN license per state regulations
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Preferred qualifications

• ACLS and other certifications based on facility needs

Skills and abilities

• Critical thinking and interpersonal communication
• Proficiency in English, reading, writing, and PC skills
• Physical ability to perform nursing procedures and move equipment
• Effective teamwork and positive attitude
• Ability to handle frequent public contact, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail
