Long Term Care RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a facility. The role involves providing skilled nursing care to residents, including assessing health, developing care plans, administering medications, and performing treatments such as wound care and IV therapy. RNs supervise LPNs and CNAs, educate residents and families, document care, and respond to emergencies while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor resident health, update care plans
• Administer treatments and medications accurately
• Supervise and support nursing staff
• Educate residents and families
• Coordinate with healthcare team for comprehensive care
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent LTC experience
• Valid RN license per state regulations
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Preferred skills

• ACLS certification
• Additional facility-specific certifications
