LONG TERM CARE CLIENT SERVICES REP, WDL; FULL TIME - 1ST/2ND SWING SHIFT

About the role

Join our team of innovative and unparalleled lab and support staff at Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories (WDL), a subsidiary of Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. We offer comprehensive, clinical laboratory services to a wide range of clients, from large tertiary care centers to small community practices.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitors the call queue, assisting with incoming calls outside of regular job assignment.
• Uses the L.A.S.T. method in problem solving customer concerns.
• Contacts client if order discrepancies are discovered, such as ICD10 code, demographic, or order clarification.
• Enters and prioritizes orders entered into LIS.
• Accurately verifies and corrects discrepancies between lab fax requisitions and the laboratory information systems for order entry changes and patient information updates.
• Documents time, location, amount of patients, stats, miles and pickups in the excel dispatch log.
• Monitors worklists and work queues through LIS.
• Works through training checklist with new team member.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of work experience in a health care setting with basic understanding of laboratory tests, results, and terminology preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic understanding of laboratory tests and terminology.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Pay

Positions with an "FTE" (full time equivalency) of .8 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical, dental and vision benefits. Positions with an "FTE" of .5 - .799 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical, dental and vision benefits.

Schedule

Shift: 1st/2nd swing shift (11:00 am - 7:30 pm; Monday - Friday with rotating weekends & holidays - weekend hours are 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm).
