Logistics Traffic Lead

Responsibilities

• Cook outbound, inbound & 3rd party shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Review/Prepare shipping documents - create, produce, & process BOLs (bills of lading) and shipping labels
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and freight companies
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and invoice
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking numbers, and delivery confirmations
• Communicate with internal departments to ensure shipping requirements are met
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and issues with carriers
• Monitor shipments to report shortages or overages
• Affirm compliance with company policies and shipping regulations
• Aid team in the development and implementation of shipping procedures
• Support warehouse staff with shipment discrepancies and labeling as needed
• Generate reports related to shipping performance
• Cook freight carriers for Collect shipments

Requirements

• Must-Haves: High school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 3 years experience in traffic, logistics, or freight transportation operations, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook, familiarity with shipping/logistic software, TMS and ERP systems, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Pay

The pay for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time, in-person position working Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
