About The Team And Position

As a Logistics Lead, you will perform various inventory and operations related tasks at our Logistics Hubs & Inspection Centers. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Aid in all Warehouse, Logistics & Transportation activities.
  • Lead and develop team, fostering a safe, collaborative, and productive environment.
  • Support team members (Logistics Associates and/or Vehicle Transporters) with daily functions including huddles, scheduling, training, shuttle driving, loading, and other tasks.
  • Perform Validation of Process to ensure performance to work standards and expectations.
  • Maintain Logistics operational supply inventory (VT, LA, Breakroom supplies).
  • Assist with communication and operational management between Logistics and business Partners (Market Operations, Post Production, Network Support, Safe and Secure, etc.).
  • Support outbound shipping lane audits, ensuring scheduled transport.
  • Manage Electric Vehicle (EV) inventory and charging processes.
  • Facilitate delayed shipments by working with warehouse and transportation personnel.
  • Assist onsite vendors with directions/access.
  • Manage, coordinate, and oversee Logistics employee engagement events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You will be required to perform your job duties during various weather conditions such as rain, snow, heat, cold, etc. You'll need to be a great communicator, a brand ambassador, and possess the know-how to get the job done. We expect bright people, willing to roll up their sleeves, take on new assignments, and juggle many things at once. In our down time we have ping pong and corn hole (or “bags,” depending on where you’re from) tournaments. However, the pace is pretty quick around here, so you'll need to be prepared to keep up. It would be great if you also had High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable

What You Should Know

  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have no more than two moving violations in the last three years or DUI.
  • Ability to work as a team player and interact with customers, managers and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.

Other Requirements

  • To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you. This job position is designated as a safety sensitive position.
  • Requires frequent driving and typing.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
  • Maintains standing for an extended period of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing, and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.
  • Requires use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments and equipment.
