Logistics Technician, Staff **SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE**
Location: Middleburgh Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)
Hourly pay range: $19.09 - $25.43 (actual offer may vary based on qualifications, experience, position scope, and business considerations)
About the Role
As a Logistics Technician, you will execute and coordinate logistics tasks related to the movement, control, and tracking of materials and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Executes and coordinates the flow of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Identifies potential improvements in logistic workflows and cost savings; participates in Lean or continuous improvement initiatives. (20%)
- Routes outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls; creates required export documentation to support international orders. (20%)
- Performs data entry by accurately documenting material movements and logistics records in the inventory management system; manages load utilization and coordinates distribution points for incoming and outgoing materials. (20%)
- Coordinates common carrier activities; maintains customer database, profiles, and delivery time windows. (20%)
- Communicates effectively with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and quality to support on-time material availability; reports shortages or delays that may impact production schedules. (20%)
Requirements
- Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Working knowledge of import/export compliance.
- Proficient with ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and organize work to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
