Our team at Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Senior Logistics Technician (level IV) to join them. You will report to our Inventory Control & Shipping Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Torrance, CA. Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is a global leader in designing primary and secondary flight control actuation systems (FCAS) for military aircraft. We design and integrate FCAS systems for cutting edge aircraft like the F-35 Lightning II and the V280 Valor next generation tiltrotor Aircraft. Responsibilities

• Develop and initiate process improvements within or outside of the team by leading and participating.
• Perform logistics operations in Stockroom, RUR, Shipping, Steel Stores or Dispatch.
• Positive influence on other team members.
• Backup for Coordinator or Supervisor.
• Conduct training for others on roles and responsibilities across team.
• Take ownership for team performance and collaborate cross functionally with others to achieve company initiatives.
• Maintain and utilize various logistics programs, as well as basic communication software including email and messaging.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging to comply with contractual requirements, appropriate documentation completion before and after shipments.
• Communicate and interact with personnel from all departments.
• Per written and/or verbal instructions; includes coordination and scheduling delivery with trucking companies.
• Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
• Perform cycle count audits.
• May operate fork trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• May operate packaging tools and machinery such as a bag sealer, nail gun, table saw, and radial arm saw.
