About the Role

Raytheon Logistics has a need for a Logistics Supervisor to lead a team of 15-25 employees in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position is responsible for maintaining and meeting organizational goals, including workforce planning, hiring, training, time and attendance tracking, and area layout and flow management. The role also ensures a safe work environment and actively engages in safety improvement discussions.

Daily interaction with cross-business teams—including manufacturing cells, engineering groups, production control, finance, and the program management office—is required. The position focuses on achieving and exceeding cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals while identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using Six Sigma and lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a logistics team of 15-25 employees.
• Execute schedule and cost objectives while maintaining key performance metrics.
• Maintain audit readiness and manage warehouse workflow, resolving aging work issues.
• Coordinate with other warehouse areas, including RMD sites and 3PL providers.
• Collaborate with other logistics departments to share resources and cross-train workforce.
• Identify capital needs and control overhead expenses.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Utilize business systems and tools to manage labor, processes, and budgets.
• Support deployment of logistics operations strategy, control systems, and metrics to measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, and develop corrective action plans.
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and lean methodologies.

Requirements

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience in technical or operational practices.
• Experience in Production, Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, Warehouse, and/or Supply Chain.
• Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to start date (U.S. citizenship required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma implementation projects.
• Previous experience supervising and interfacing with bargaining unit employees in the aerospace/defense industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused, metrics-driven, and success-oriented mindset.
• Strong people management and interpersonal skills; ability to resolve conflicts with good judgment.
• Ability to lead in a team-based manufacturing environment and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access).
• APICS certification or ability to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
