Join Hanwha Qcells USA Corp and support the build of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the U.S. This is an evergreen posting for current and future project needs across our solar and BESS EPC portfolio. We are actively building a pipeline of qualified Logistic Superintendents to support upcoming work.

Travel & Relocation Requirement: 100% nationwide travel is required. You will relocate to project sites for 8–12 months at a time. This is a fully on-site, field-based role. Candidates must be comfortable with a project-to-project travel lifestyle.

About the Role

Logistic Superintendents are placed on project sites for the duration of the build (typically 8–12 months) and then transition to the next project. This is an on-site role working directly on the project site. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time or other hours the site may establish. Overtime and weekend work will be required as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the site delivery schedule for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system projects.
  • Execute comprehensive plans for receiving, offloading, staging, and managing materials efficiently.
  • Identify and resolve daily logistical challenges to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage all site logistics activities, including receiving, offloading, and staging, to support project timelines.
  • Supervise material management field personnel, including general foreman, operators, and laborers, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget by closely monitoring and adjusting logistical plans as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in renewables construction or a related field.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability in supporting projects: planning, installation, and execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel full-time.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced working environment.

Physical Demands

  • Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations, etc.).
  • Able to walk or move continuously while carrying 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
