The Logistics Transportation Coordinator will establish, implement, and maintain organizational trade and regulatory compliance policy, procedures and training. Be responsible for management of the export/import process and transactions through customs clearance and delivery to include restricted articles, ensure timely, accurate, and compliant completion of export/import information and documentation. Also, this position will be responsible for coordination of domestic and/or international finished goods movement, competitive pricing and transport resources to manage deliveries in peak periods.
- Review, analyze, and initiate actions to provide availability and scheduling coverage of product movement.
- Trace shipments and obtain proof of delivery as needed.
- Provide timely and accurate information of shipment movements back to ICSR’s.
- Analyze complex data, identify regulatory issues, explain variances and recommend solutions.
- Check required terms of sale including requested delivery /ship ready dates and balances due.
- Cookordination with appropriate departments and individuals to finalize remaining details.
- Book domestic and/or international shipments with freight forwarders.
- Carefully coordinate and ensure compliance through Letters of Credit, Letters of Export, Declaration of Conformity, Tariff Codes, Shipping Papers, IMO’s etc. when required.
- Responsible for container load optimization under HM Regulations.
- Cookordinate shipment loads with other production/parts facilities for combined delivery whenever possible.
- Prepare domestic and/or export documentation to include: Shippers Letter of Instruction, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, VGM Declarations, SOLAS, AES filing, and other destination specific documentation.
- Excellent knowledge of HMR guidelines 49 CFR parts 100-185, IATA, ICAO, IMDG Code and other applicable global regulatory standards.

Requirements
A High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years shipping/logistics experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, database and internet-based programs).

Pay
The hiring range for this position is: $23-28/hour, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
