LOGISTICS SPECIALIST GDC

Description

The Receiving Specialist is a critical member of the Inventory Department and supports the GDC operations in the inspection and receiving process for all inbound aircraft components to UAM's global distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Maintain digital component list for received and reconciled components per consignment.
• Recognize and understand UAM’s Quality Control Manual, Receiving and Shipping SOPs and adhere to all related policies and procedures therein.
• Maintains the existing quality control process and make incremental improvements to increase efficiency.
• Maintains the existing inventory process and makes incremental improvements to increase efficiency.
• Take primary ownership for the development and improvement of world-class material handling processes.
• Communicate all delays on receiving to Assistant Director.
• Abside by company policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.
• Receive and/or reconcile all parts with the highest quality as possible.
• Work well in a group and handle large tasks with minimum guidance.
• Work in a variable of climate conditions.
